Nearly everyone expected this to happen and alas it didn’t. At this point, I doubt any of the shows will show anyone falling victim to Thanos’ snap. Iron Fist and Daredevil’s next seasons are coming up, and like the recent Marvel shows, they are said to take place BEFORE Infinity War. But of all the shows, AOS had the best chance at showing any vanishing, and yet the show took a different path. Maybe it was for the best?
Although Infinity War’s release date being moved up is supposedly a big reason why they didn’t show any poofing, let’s not forget that the ending was written as a series finale just in case the show didn’t get renewed. I guess they wanted to end the show on a somewhat happier note. But wait, someone potentially DID end up poofing... and it was Deke. :D
Or maybe they weren't allowed to show any of Infinity Wars fallout... we will see next season. Then, they have to deal with it.
And I really don't get why the Netflix shows are considered to take place in the MCU - but there is no effort whatsoever to show it. They even fail sometimes at making believable that the Netflix shows are in the same universe - looking at you Punisher ;)
