Which one do people think was best ? 'The Internship' (2013) staring Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson or 'The Intern' (2015) staring Robert De Niro & Anne Hathaway ?
Must be a few people get the two mixed up with the titles and premise of older people getting an internship at a tech company.
I honestly enjoy them both.
The Internship is cheesy and fun and ultimately heartwarming.
The Intern is more of character portrait for the two leads, lighthearted drama feel to it. Little bits of comedy in there, bits of melancholy, also ultimately heartwarming.
And yes, when they first started showing this on TV, once or twice I did click on one expecting the other, which is how I ended up eventually watching them both.
I'm in agreement on liking both. They don't need to be put against each other.
shareI would love to see them make a mashup where you have all the characters in one film. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson get a new internship at Anne Hathaway's tech start up. Even though the're not really qualified they put the Google internship on their resume and land the role.
Everything is going great until both Vince and Owen fall in love with Anne. It threatens to both destroy their friendship as well as Anne's company.
Intern no question.
