Oh gawd no. As a heterosexual married couple in our fifties we both despised this stinker of a movie. Unbelievable crap.

No it wasn't. Just because the movie depicted a hard-working woman and her stay-at-home husband raising their daughter, doesn't mean this was a woman's idea "how men should be". The family dynamics were only a plot point, nothing else.
