Does this happen in real life? Without acknowledging it she valued her company more than her marriage in my opinion.

shareCorrect. I think this happens all the time. Heck a spouse may know about an affair from yrs ago and not say something. She doesn't know how to handle it right now and she's have this whole CEO dilemma happening. Probably a bit overwhelming for her. I definitely could have seen her confront eventually.

shareApparently it does happen, perhaps especially when the wife has no power to walk out, ie when she is dependent on the husband as breadwinner. Seems less likely in this case.
