And still associate Ritter with that character when you see Jessica Jones? I can't be the only one. I guess she did such a great job playing the "B" that it is hard to not keep seeing her as that vapid soul.

shareWhen they cast her, I thought it was a horrible mistake, she played the same character on Veronica Mars and don't trust the B. I couldn't see her as Jessica Jones, but she did a great job. Sometimes actors do such a great job we think that is who they are. I thought Amy Acker was playing herself on Angel, but nothing she has done since is anything like Fred. and people don't even remember that Sean Penn was Spicoli in fast times at ridgemont high

Reminds me of the outrage when Chris Evans was cast as Steve Rogers.
People were like "OMG did you see him in FF - he's such an arrogant douche". Ah no, he was PLAYING an arrogant douche. And quite well. Not that it was hard or anything, but just because someone does something relatively easy (playing Johnny Storm) it doesn't mean they can't do something more challenging (playing Cap).
