I've already watched the first five episodes of Luke Cage and just started JJ. At the bar scene, Luke mentions Pops. I have read that the 1st season of LK happened a few months after JJ.

Luke Cage takes place about 6 months after the end of Jessica Jones. So unless you're cool with watching out of order you might want to finish JJ before you go back and finish LC.
I can't recall any massive spoilers really if you watch LC first - but I wouldn't consider it a huge deal.

Kilgrave's death is a bit of a spoiler though. Especially given how so many people freaked out over "why doesn't she just kill him!!??!". Imagine someone going in knowing Kilgrave dies?
