Brilliant show. I love the focus on the heroine's frailties and her trying to overcome her tragedies rather than the focus on her powers.
I love Dare Devil and the Luke Cage show both but the writing and acting in JJ trumps them all.
I loved it also, but why do we always have to start saying which show was best? I once knew a man who was the long term head of the English Department of the University of Arkansas, a highly acclaimed scholar who many people thought may have read more total books than . . . well, anyone else alive. Sadly he died in the early 1980s. But I once asked him if he liked this or that book more, and his reply was, "Comparisons are odious."
Comparisons ARE odious.
I think a lot of people lash out against this or that or another show because they feel threatened that some other show is praised. But let's not worry about that. Let's just enjoy shows without worrying which is best.
