Am personally guessing quite a bit but not a huge amount and not especially cringy either. Probably not going to watch it though, although I love Jodie Foster generally.
Show rebounded with season three but has never come close to regaining its promise imo.

To compare it with S01, I can't remember Marty or Rust saying explicitely they fuck pussy in first 30 minutes or anyone being white or black. The detectives talking to both of them in the present time in the show were both black and yet that wasn't the focus or never considered even bringing it up at any point in the show. That's because it was made pre 2015 hysteria.

shareI swear, I have gotten to the point where i don't even watch new tv shows while they're still running because 9/10 it's going to get derailed by some political bs, and then I stop watching without satisfying endings for any of the storylines or rage watch out of stubbornness until it ends or it just gets way too dumb...either way a waste of time.
