what next, people are going to complain that the queen is not a black shemale?

shareThe Mummy was never the pharaoh, dumbass. Imhotep was an Egyptian priest and sorcerer. Kharis wasn't a pharaoh either. There was Princess Ananka, though, and if you include Hammer films, there was Queen Tera in Blood From The Mummy's Tomb.
Next time you think you know what you're talking about, and you don't, do everyone a favor and shut up.

There were female pharoahs. Haptshepsut for one. Sorry for Wikipedia link, but that's the first link when you type in her name. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatshepsut
shareThat's not the point. The point is that the Mummy was never a pharoah, but has been a queen before. The OP was just complaining about the Mummy being a woman without saying that outright.
Of course even then, pointing out that there were female pharoahs also undermines the OP's argument.

I figured that was what the OP was doing. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I just figured, with people saying that it was 'just a PC stunt' type thing, that anyone who likes Egyptian history and is on these boards, ought to point out there were female rulers. And honestly, having studied ancient Egypt somewhat over the years, the female rulers always seem to have great stories. One ruled in the place of her husband/brother when he died because his only heir (her nephew/step-son) was only an infant and she was First Wife/Queen, so she ruled. Some of the monuments she built were the most amazing things built in or out of Egypt, in her lifetime. But when she was about 15 or so years into her rule, suddenly she disappears from the official records, her mummy hasn't been found, her only daughter dies, and her step-son/nephew takes the throne. Another had no male heirs to her father, as her brother/husband died within weeks of their father, so she stepped up to rule for about 12-18 years, and she even went into battle and wore a fake-beard when appearing before her people to fully take on the appearance of a Pharaoh. Either of those women would make a great launching point for the Mummy in the new movie! [I know, you can't tell I'm excited at all about a female Mummy.]

Oh look, another dumbass who thinks he knows what he's talking about, but he doesn't. My, how many of those there are today. Clearly he doesn't know one fµcking thing or he'd have more to say than that stupid-ass bullshït.

Lol. Yea it seems like the bloody feminists have wormed their way into this. As sooner as I hesrd that Sofia was gonna be the Mummy I was like, nope. I would have been ok with it had the second human character been male. But no, they cast a female to play that part too. #Hollywoodhasnoballs.
shareOh, I don't think it's Hollywood that doesn't have balls. It's spineless cretins like you who bitch and moan about things they don't even understand because they feel threatened. Kindly fµck off next time you think you have a clue.
