If there is meant to be a connected universe based on if this film is successful then it will never happen. I was open to the idea of a rebooted Mummy franchise, but the creators of this film don't seem to have a single clue as to what made the original film so great.
shareYeah, I thought they were supposed to go with a bit more horror in their new monsters universe. From the looks of this trailer not really. It's just another action movie and the mummy is a crazy looking woman with powers. I don't know. I'm underwhelmed.
