I wish the mummy was uglier, with gross skin etc.

Having a female with great skin, wearing some white makeup and writing on her forehead isn't scary.

I don't see why they didn't make her face very aged and decrepit. Just seems like the logical thing to do for a scary movie.

An exception would be the excellent Gozer from Ghostbusters, but that was the 80's and that was a terrific movie that actually was creepy at times. Not sure this Mummy is going to be scary.

Yeah it just looks a like generic demon face.

We'll see how it turns out.

I mean I kind of like it. They already said that the UMCU is going to be more action oriented anyway. She's basically an angry spirit with a lot of power...I wasn't expecting the slow walking old person mummy from the 30's and anyone that was is fooling themselves. How can they be any real threat to anything, especially with all the other monsters that will be soon to follow.

She is supposed to be a freaking princess, so it was natural to cast an Algerian fox (the next best thing to an Egyptian fox).

Fanboy : a person who does not think while watching.

She might not look like that when she first revives. Too early to tell.

100% agree, her appearance just looks cheesy and cheep as hell. She doesn't look much like a mummy at all, just rags and weird makeup. WooOOOOoooo. It's possible they'll have the mummy regenerate from a mummified state like they did in the 1999 film. But even if this is the mummies final form, it's still not very intimidating.

I might be wrong, but I've got a feeling this movie's going to bomb.

This isnt a horror movie lol its a action film lol

Yup. The big scary monster is.... a super hot chick everybody wants to bang.

"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"

I like the mummy as she is. Why on earth anyone would want her uglier is beyond me.
