Actually first Mummy was pretty good. The second was okay. Haven't seen the third.

The third Mummy is the reason why we have a reboot with Tom Cruise today. Its really bad... That said, because Mummy 2 was a hit, they are still making Scorpion King movies today.

Well . . technically true, but I'm not sure we need to count cheap direct-to-video schlock starring the likes of Randy Couture, Lou Ferrigno, and something called "Victor Webster." Those movies barely exist.
share3rd mummy made a very good profit, regardless of reviews, it was a box office hit with well over 200m profit. I'm not really sure why they didn't choose Fraser, maybe it's so they can turn it into a new franchise/trilogy all over again.

Fraser movies sucked. The first was cool the rest sucked balls.
shareQuite the opposite. I see more people complaining, but although I am a fan of the 1999 film, I'm keeping an open mind about this. I'm guessing people aren't even considering Fraser's recent filmography which does not instill a lot of confidence at all. Stuff like Furry Vengeance was terrible.
