Now that its been confirmed that Dracula Untold will not be canon and Luke Evans will not return who could you see taking the role in an eventual film?
He was rumored for Van Helsing back in the day, I wouldn't be shocked if they say his real biological last name is Van Helsing. Dracula is a serious no because he'd be weak in day light.
Dracula may drink your blood, but he also wants to save you money on a variety of financial services. Its Universal's way to humanize the character 😉
Mikkelsen's work in Hannibal cements him as a great Dracula contender. He gave off the impression of an animal playing with their prey throughout the series(Pretending to be like everyone else), and when he striked he really didn't hold back. He's also not too young but not too old, which works, a lot.
If they're making the mummy female, they should make Dracula female, as well. The logical choice would be either Melissa McCarthy or Amy Schumer, because of progressive feminism.
It's a new character, dumbass. Ahmanet is not Imhotep. Or Kharis, for that matter. How come it's fine to ditch the original character for the sequels and make an entirely new one as long as it's still a man? Oh wait, actually there's nothing wrong with doing it for a woman too, since they did exactly that with the Invisible Man series.
By the way, the original films are apparently still in continuity, so not only could we still possibly see Imhotep and Kharis again, they'll literally be the same characters you saw in the old films.
You already named one great choice lol I've looked around online to get some ideas. I know it may be a long shot, but Daniel Day Lewis would probably be fantastic. He practically becomes whoever he plays. Also, Ralph Fiennes. He's played great villains before in Harry Potter and Red Dragon. Viggo Mortensen and Javier Bardem would probably be great too.
