Why are there so many people who don't know The Mummy came out in the 1930s?

many people have not seen movies made before the 90's...

even equiped with a shovel and you couldn't dig this

What's funny is that people are griping about the modern setting but the first two were set in contemporary times and every sequel from then on went into the future, with the last one taking place in 1995!

ignorance and lack of any curiosity about anything that happened before they were born. The 1932 version is still creepier than any of the remakes.
