It's quite funny about the reaction...
Don't get me wrong, the movie doesn't look good. But I'm talking specifically about the complaints that it looks too close to horror than adventure (which I also don't think is true)
When the 1999 movie came out, there were many complaints even back then that they had turned a Gothic horror romance, one of the very best stories from the Universal monster's...um, universe, and turned it into a Indiana Jones style family adventure.
Now this one seems it wants to be a horror movie and the complaints are that it seems to lack a sense of adventure.
