I'm sorry. Make jokes and wisecracks all you want, for whatever reason.....
But if Tom Cruise is involved in this movie, chances are VERY high that it will be great.
Say what you want about his Scientology stuff. All that aside, Tom Cruise is one of the last bonafide MOVIE STARS. He takes the art of making great, entertaining films very seriously. And he's not one of those "I'm too big now, and too consumed with my talents and CRAFT to make mere action films anymore." No....he loves it. And he brings it, huge, every time out.

This guy has got to have over 50 films on his resume.....and it would be very difficult to find even 2-3 that were not only huge, great movies....but also, try to find ANY he wasn't great in, even if it wasn't a commercial success. He picks his projects extremely well....he is very good in his roles....and he makes great movies. Has ANYONE in film history ever nailed it more often? Several come CLOSE.....but TC is one of the last big-time, can't lose STARS.

Odds are, this will be a great flick.

Actually, you are correct. Tom Cruise IS one of the last movie stars and one of the only true pros in Hollywood. I can't see him signing on to a new franchise if he wasn't completely confident in it.
