The main

protagonist, does he posses some sort of supernatural power/heightened senses/enhanced strength etc? the main reason he's brought back to life by russel crowe is probably to help him track down the roaming mummy, his memories prior to the plane crash are too valuable to waste. this begs the question, does his resurrection come with supernatural traits? he's pretty much a zombie now, a sentient, problem solving zombie. there's a few stunning cool looking shots of tom cruise doing some fancy gravity defying acrobatic moves that seem impossible for a mere mortal. something tells me he's been bestowed with magical powers that enable him to hold his own against the resentful mummy. regardless, i can't get his weird sounding scream out of my head.

He's a cross between Neo and Ethan Hawke.

I don't know! But I hope they go into detail about the dude's origin story and tell us all about the intricacies of his powers and what not, and then maybe in future installments we'll get to know more about his backstory -- you know, how he came to be the way he is and what not, like they did with Darth Vader! -- and maybe the whole thing will mushroom out with lots of interconnected characters and subplots and stories and be spread out over multiple installments like the friggin' Marvel Comics Universe!!!!

YEAH!!!

Or, you know, they can always go old school and make a movie with less spectacle and CGI but way better dialogue and characterizations -- you know, make a movie that was not specifically designed to launch a franchise.

KIDDING!! I hope it's modern and FX-heavy with a story that has more in common with a graphic novel or a cool miniseries you'd see on Netflix than an old-school motion picture!
