This won't be much better than Mummy 3...
It's never gonna top The Mummy (1999) which was excellent.
Mummy 2 was pretty good, yes Mummy 3 was a bit crappy but i dont think the new one will be much better...

To be honest most Mummy films are a bit naff, but the Hammer series is my favourite.
shareMummy 3 wasn't a good movie per se but it was entertaining in its silliness in a pulpy old-school way. This is like if someone forcibly mated a rejected Uncharted script with some generic Underworld ripoff.
Whatever you are, be a good one.

It shouldn't be hard to top those three given that they weren't really good in the first place. Still, better wait and see before making any proclamations. If it's a good movie, great! If it's a piece of #hit, tear it apart.

"The Mummy (1999) was great! Most fans of Indiana Jones 1-3 loved that film, its the truth."
It's an enjoyable film and fun in a 1930s pulp comic book kind of way, but it's not a great film by any means, especially in relation to the original Karloff movie.
I am a Indy fan and I can't stand the 99 Mummy film. Instead of catering to the Indiana Jones fanbase they should have made it a gothic horror film like the Universal and Hammer versions.

Practically ANYTHING would be better than the Mummy 3. Loved the first two; they were a lot of fun.
As long as the mummy girl in this movie gets a lot of screen time and I don't have to stare at Tom Cruise for 80% of the movie, I'll call it a win.
There is no objective reality... and that's Sucker Punch
