This type of movies

Warrning : bad english

This type of movies aren't working well with the modern technology.

Same as Dracula doesn't belong to 21st century,Mummy should stick to times where people used torches and fire instead of electricity. Also The Last Witch Hunter, imagine if movie was set 800 years ago,it would be much better movie, and if Diesel wasn't casted because it was Dominic Toretto vs Witch.

Imagine transformers movie back 10.000 BC

Also, this type of movies should cast low profile actors, same as Peter Jackson used low profile actors in LOTR,because people already started with 'Jack Reacher vs Mummy'

Daniel R. is always going to be remembered as Harry Potter, and make no mistake,i bet you couldn't take him for serious in his skinhead movie.

I know Tom Cruise is supposed to be money hijacker in this one,but i think its going to have max 6.5 on imdb.

Mummy being female has nothing to do with my opinion,so sjws take a hike.I actually believe female has better affect on audience in horror movies, because everyone is scared of old creepy lady, grandpa ghost...well not that much.

I do agree with you and while watching the trailer i was in a state of disbelief that Hollywood actually went for this again and some how they were able to get Tom Cruise in such a terrible movie.

It is going to bomb big time or at least i hope it does otherwise Hollywood will keep on with recycling this garbage over and over again.

You mean as a period piece? Oh trust me, I wish that was the approach they took with this whole monster-verse idea. Who knew than Van Helsing called it right?

Whatever you are, be a good one.

Yeah I agree. Keeping these films at least in semi-recent history (1800s) would have been a good idea. However, look at LXG...I feel that's the vibe the inevitable teamup would be like, and that was poorly received (and it is one of my guilty pleasure films).

I too like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) and I think it was done right.

And yes mummies, vampires, werewolves, wizards ect... should be period pieces only unless it is something like The Cabin in the Woods (2012)

The Mummy (2017) is going to bomb and is going to bomb hard and will probably end Hollywood's Mummy movies forever, It's not going to take Cruise down with it even though it was beyond stupid to sign on with this POS movie.
