Geesh Kelley - being proactive doesn't mean wasting time by setting up every. single. toy. that the guests haven't even requested. He shot himself in the foot on that one. Or as Capt Lee would say, he screwed the pooch!
Seriously though, he does this stuff to himself!
I'm still wondering what he did that had the Captian asking him to "come over here so I can ring your neck" ( ok, admittedly I'm not good at quoting so if you feel the need to correct me go ahead. You won't hurt my feelings) So Kelly has yet to make "the" mistake or faux pas.
shareI'm not really a Kelly fan (I HATE how he treated Jenice during his first season) but I do feel Captain Lee is treating him unfairly. He really is micro managing him, and I have to side with Kelly over the interior versus exterior thing. Cleaning the outside of the boat is hands down the exterior job, but what about the inside? Why isn't Kate's crew doing that?
And how is it when 4 people stay up late eating and drinking, the Captain barks at Kelly to clean it up? Ben. Kate and Emily were there too, why is it on Kelly? I also agree that Captain Lee favors Kate.

Oh I totally agree that Capt. Lee is overly hard on Kelley. I just think Kelley didn't do himself any favors by jumping the gun on the water toys.
shareOh no...not at all. He seems like an OK guy, he has the potential to be a decent leader, but I think he's not there yet. Captain Lee had a good point...Kelly seems to wait for the Captain to tell him what to do, when as Bosun, he should already know.
