shareI've never heard that but it sounds like it could be true. I was watching a documentary once where someone received a UPS package of their loved ones cremains. For whatever reason they opened the package then and there and accidentally spilled some ashes out - some of it was smooth and fine like sand, and some of it was bony and chunky. I've never seen cremains firsthand but seeing them on that show made an impression on me.
I think what that guy had was just a small sampling of his aunt's ashes, since he was going to spread her around in different places. So maybe he only brought the smooth part of her ashes.
