I would have thought that he was smarter than this. He has witnessed the damage that other crew members have done in the past by over-drinking and acting out.

Yeah Ben ended the season on a low note. He walks a fine line between being a "fan favorite" and pandering to building his name around that, and just staying real by letting loose and being an angry drunk. So many Bravolebrities get caught up in their own fame and start acting like scripted versions of themselves. At least Ben stays authentic. I think his job is the most stressful out of everyone, so I give him a pass on feeling burnt out at the end.
I've been through a terrible ordeal!
After the show first aired Ben probably never had a girl say no before. He couldn't get Emily in the sack which grew his attraction. The fact he threw away his friendship with Kate and the way he did it was a total dick move. Shame on him! He and Kate had something special between them that everyone can see. Romantic or not those two have chemistry! Emily seems like a nice girl but very insecure. I think Ben will lose interest fast when she's no longer his only option for female company.
shareEmily seems like a good egg and there were a few shots of her looking forlorn on the crews' farewell night out that really made me detest Ben for being such a jerk to both women, but especially to Emily...kind of like having to watch him kick a kitten.
