My "perspective" is that it takes a lot of time and effort to cook three gourmet meals a day for the guests, plus three different meals for the crew, plus any extras the guests want at any time of the day and night--all while Kate is constantly bitching at you and refusing to tell you when the guests are going to eat.
Is it the worst job in the world? No, absolutely not--and there are wonderful perqs involved. But just because that is so, that's doesn't minimize the amount of work involved in making all those meals each day for all of those people. It's a lot to do.
