In the preview (I have not yet seen the movie I might not ever) The bald guy discovers that life has a meaning of zero, no meaning at all.
Well the entire universe might be "zero". Some scientists think that for all of the energy in the universe, and matter is a form of energy there is negative energy that cancels it out, so that the entire universe has a net energy of zero! If there was nothing at all then that would also be zero so in a sense nothing exists at all and the entire universe is a giant zero, how depressing!
I don't get it. I'm typing this ain't I? I'm here right?
I guess the idea is then that in entirety of universe there's an anti you, a being in every sense opposite to you typing the sentence that utterly negates your sentence, and the two of you combined, equal to 0.. same for me, same for OP, same for everyone... until everything comes down to 0.
Or not, seeing how universe isn't real but just a bug, and will eventually smooth this but out going out of existence, and you typing that sentence is of no consequence to anything, and there's not a single thing you could do to ward this fate off, then it's equal to you not typing that sentence, and you not being here... same for me, and same for op

Real scientist don't believe in zero theorem. That is just a plot mechanic. Quantum Mechanics serves to break Newtonian Mechanics, Temporal Mechanics says time moves forward, but ever now and then time moves backwards. The true anti-human or anti-thing is anti-protons aka anti-matter, all of which has a very difficult time existing in our reality not suspended in a plasma filled chamber. There is alternate matter known as dark matter which is the opposite of physical matter, it is known as a mass that has no mass, it is theorized to be where everything else is not, as well as dark energy, same idea, different state. Regarding this movie... I feel like I have been the protagonist forever. Ever since I began chasing the question of who we are, and why are we here. For me though it has made me more religious, as the farther I go in each field, the more it relates to a source, a design, a construct, a format, a blueprint for existence. Einstein's Theory of relativity is why I believe we all have souls, as it relates to E=MC^2. The rule of energy is that it cannot be destroyed, E=MC^2 says matter converts into energy. Atheist would tell me well it goes into the ground, or is devoured by animals. I would disagree as a life time of surging synapses gives off much more power then what would quantifiably fit into a pine box.
However, that's just my opinion.

I like it.
I'll take some heat for it, but I like Yoda's thoughts on the matter as well. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.
