Well I'm puzzled, but...
...I just don't think this movie is worth puzzling over. I think Terry Gilliam has reached the point that he can turn out any old crap, and some people will call it a work of genius. So he (the main character) does something like Second Life, or Sex-chat site to get his rocks off, big deal. That was so last decade. There is no point to this movie. And by the way I thought the 'Physics' in it would appeal to me, it didn't. I was asking, is that it? Sure the end will be the Big Crunch, or the Universe expands for ever, and that's that. Here somehow, we are to believe, it will all disappear up its own Black Hole. We know this depressing stuff already, life is pretty meaningless, it's not exactly ground-breaking stuff when it comes to Philosophical Questions. At best, this was like something you'd have seen on Channel 4 late at night 15 years ago, made on a tiny budget. Too clever for it's own good, to the point of being pretty silly.
