A movie for smart people?

You need to think about what is said or shown in the movie?

Its a deep movie? Is it any good?

The trailer seems promising.

I found out that it's best to just give a film a shot without asking anybody's opinion, you might miss lots of great movies this way.

Yes, I do think that smart people will enjoy this much rather than, well, less smart ones, but on the other hand, I didn't think there was something particularly difficult about it, quite easy to follow. But have to be honest, didn't really get the ending.

In my opinion, the entire film is about atheism. Qohen spends his entire life afraid of death and waiting for "a call" that he just expects to come without any proof. When he's electrocuted, he dies, and embraces nothingness (letting himself be sucked into the black hole thing).

I don't think smart or dumb comes into play in movie like this as much as passive and active. If you just want to sit back and let a movie wash over you (and I love movies like that too) this would not be the film. If you can take pleasure actively using your mind while watching something you might find something here.

It's a movie of major but mundane philosophical questions that doesn't steer you toward any particular answers. It just lets you mill around in the stew.

I'm pretty sure that those "very dumb people" are more successful than your genius ass.
