...that she is a Nympho! Her mother was asking her husband if he ever touched Lily, but there is no reason. She is a nympho & that's why she needs excuses from her isolated home.

Catherine realised early in the film after she reads the diary. She hands the diary to Rae with the proviso that he not reveal it to Matthew, who doesn't really find out that she wasn't Daddy's little girl until near the end.🐭
