most of the movie is his business, his helicopters , interviews , emails, her stupid friend and then her wondering why he wants to hurt her
and where is the romance anyway ?
you do not punish someone for having big boobs!
This all happens in less that a month...sets up the characters and the story...the next two movies are romance...sex...thrills...drama..action and happy endings.

Yes...because that is how the books do it...still wish they had gone with the book's ending instead of the one they did...oh well.
And Christian goes easy on her....not full blown sub stuff...Ana enjoys the "kinky ses" in the next tow books...just no belts...gags...or hanging from something..and Christian complies..after quite a while...he is not interested in the Red Room...
