Truth to be told! Most book adaptations suck BUT this one............ The worst cast ever! Bad acting and sorry, but shouldn't be Christian Grey be the hottest guy ever????????
Like I said not what I've pictured! Who else was that disappointed?
It is a subjective thing..."hottest guy ever"...when you read the book, you get some of what EL James is describing...but really, is there any guy out there who looks like that?...I thought the first actor mentioned that had the part Charlie Hunnam was completely wrong for the part..too beefy..SOA motorcycle riding, looking guy...and then others mentioned Ian Sommerhalder from VD ,Matt Bomer..Henry Civil...no,no, and no..I did not know who Jamie Dornan was,and I thought it was a good choice...Christian really needed to be a little known actor..
I would be interested in who you thought fit the part?...there have been so many names mentioned, but none that everyone could agree with..
Well, I new who dornan was before 50 shades of grey. For example: once upon a time first season!
And Ian Somerhalder wouldn't fit either!
I would have chosen Alex Pettyfer!
I remembered Dornan from Marie Antoinette, where I fell in love with him, but when I initially saw Fifty, I couldn't see what I first saw in him. That came in subsequent viewings, tho.
Hunnan would have been a horrible choice. Pettyfer, tho, I can see.
The one complaint I have about Dornan is that his smiles always came off as forced. He doesn't seem like a natural smiler.

we see very little smiling in The Fall too...I think Darker will help in that department, because he loosens up a lot, and Ana makes him laugh..a new experience for Christian...and Jamie has said how much easier it was filming the next two movies...they all felt more at ease and knew what to expect...we shall see.we know they are the better stories.
Alex Pettyfer?? I don't think so...he just isn't ever well groomed...and has a bad reputation for being a jerk on movie sets..
