IMDB closing down the message boards

For quite some time this was my favorite board. I liked the banter, enjoyed the clever conversation, and the passion of some fans of the novel. Although I had issues with the novel and the movie, I enjoyed the discussion here and am sorry to see it go. 

I've been through this before. Back when Oxygen shut down its boards. A lot of us Xena fans moved to Whoosh's ezBoards, which is now Yuku. And then there's Proboards and Runboard.

Several of you here can work together and create a board/forum on one of these sites and post a link here for others to join you. I have my own boards on all three sites. On other boards here, there are threads where people are discussing moving to a Google Group, or a Facebook Group.

You have a little over two weeks to figure out where you want to go, and make sure others know where to find it.

I love message boards, and I'm so going to miss the IMDb boards a great deal.

It is kind of sad. I've actually made some friends. But, as life goes, changes happen.

Yes, april_1. Although I didn't really enjoy the book or the movie, I came to this board to connect with intelligent people who wanted to discuss the romance genre and meet other people who liked it. I often disagree with folks but except for a few really nasty trolls, the conversation was interesting. Oh well, as you said, life goes on, changes happen. So long, april_1.
