Lol, yeah. They should have names it "Dirty Dancing 2"...

This movie looks so generic. How many times are they going to squeeze this same old story line of a rich innocent virgin white girl whose parents shielded her from the "bad apples" of life and life itself and meets the poor scruffy-looking white boy with a criminal past that comes back up to haunt him. She will defend him and sleep with him, become slutty (the movie Fear anyone?), disobey her father, her father will demand his daughter to stop seeing him and threaten the boy, her mother will understand but will never stands up for her etc etc...

It's official, Hollywood is not original anymore. Hell, I don't even think it ever was.

I know! But, I like those kind of movies. Forbidden romances and everything. I hope this one will be at least half good as Dirty dance

You could be right. The trailer doesn't look like they stayed anywhere close to the source material. The novel was hypnotizing. This does look like Dirty Dancing without the dancing.

This looks like the countless Romeo-and-Juliet-ripoffs that bring nothing new to the table. To add insult to injury, the leads are a couple of former models attempting to act and failing miserably. And why is Pettyfer still finding work in Hollywood? He is going from bad to worse.
