this film is a huge bomb
Ridley Scott killed alien franchise with this turkey.
shareDisagree. Maybe not as good as Alien or Aliens, but better than Prometheus and any AVP turk.
shareBox office wise it is going to come in way below expectations. And looking at the audience scores it doesn't look like it pleased many people either.
I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/fyYgj2Fpur0
I wonder, you might be right.
I did not like this movie or Prometheus, but I'd still like the see someone write some good sequels to develop this world.
But I think most fans wanted to see something go right and get on track, and these movies so far have been really stupid. At some point people are going to give up on it, that is for sure.
They tried to make a decent trilogy with Terminator with Genisys. I loved it, a lot of the usual nerds trashed it and that was a wrap. It was a shame. You can't make anything these tools see coming, because they will hate it immediately. It makes me s mad. Jurassic World WAS garbage. Prometheus and Genisys weren't at all.
I feel that even if the series was rebooted intelligently, it would be trashed up and down and flop.
Prometheus was like a retelling of At the Mountains of Madness, and I liked that about it. It was almost a remake of the first part of AvP (before the Predators show up aka the only part worth watching). Genisys was good I thought, maybe if only for the nostalgia. I liked it, though.
share The main villian in Genysis didn't feel as threatning as any terminators before him. I'm guessing the PG-13 ratting emasculated the villin.
I've been ready for an alien reboot since Alien Ressurection. I was hoping that prometheus was a reboot actually.
It was better then promeheus by a long shot. bite your tounge.
why do people think a 247 million dollar film equals a bomb.
They think that because they overestimate their math skills.
shareIt reminds me now as to how people assume if a video console doesn't sell out on release day the console is viewed as a flop. Or that consoles that remain sold out months later are a huge success despite a deliberate lack of supply.
shareI think you're right.
shareNo, it isn't because it didn't make cinema theathers nor TVs explode!
:-)
