Theories about Shaw's fate?

I was bummed when I found out that Elizabeth Shaw was not going to be a main character in this movie. However, we know now that she's going to appear in some capacity, so I was wondering what do you guys think happened to her between the events of Prometheus and those of Alien: Covenant. Let's have fun guessing!

That would be a shame... hopefully what happened to her is nastier, hehe. I read a theory suggesting that she could have become the first alien queen...

I think David kills her because he's a psychotic android. He spent too much time alone on Prometeus with no social contact.
