This is an excellent movie. I can't imagine what people didn't like about it.

5.8 is criminal. It should be lower.

It seems like it missed a director like an Albert Brooks or even Larry David to pull this into what it could have been; comedy, dark comedy, dramedy -- along those lines.

This is not knocking a female director, this whole thing was just too whiny to me and, to quote a line in this film, too "two plate ...". It was predictable, stereotypical women who bred babies against the young, attractive free-willed hooker type film, not a strong one in the bunch -- the film was so centered on wish-washy-whiny-cry-weak folks. I don't even know what the heck this movie was for, except to set women back 50 years. It was just missing June Cleaver and Donna Reed carrying signs. Just my opinion...

The 5.8 rating is criminal

on my initial viewing (on Feb 22nd 2014) i thought it was a bit underrated. but... i just finished re-watching it now(Sep 9th 2014), which makes for my 2nd viewing of it, and it took a solid hit for me this time around. i wonder what i seen in it the first time now at this point considering it was pretty dull overall for me now.

5/10 (below average) ; Thumbs Down.

also, for whatever it's worth... as of Oct 2013 this was Quentin Tarantino's #1 movie of 2013. for the record... this has no effect on my opinion of the movie.

p.s. i been re-watching some of my favorite movies of 2013 (say Top 15 area) lately and some held up, maybe even improved a bit, and some of them did not including this. so now my Top 10-ish of 2013 should be pretty stable at this point.

I sure loved watchin the uncomfortable buck naked 24yr old juno temple ridin that old farts puddin pop though. She was so obviously wincing trying not to look horrified haha
