And why have we waited 37 years for a film with this title?

unfortunately, no. i was hoping for something over the end credits.
all of the performances were excellent. some of the scenes worked amazingly well.. others not so great. despite the implausibility of it all, i thought the script and direction were very good. looking forward to jill's next project.

Thanks for the details. It was a longshot from the start, but I had to ask. Unfortunately, it seems that movies' main use for the Starland Vocal Band is as a punchline in "Anchorman" films.

I'll still see this movie, though I'll probably wait until I find it at the library because I'm severely behind on recent films.

That song is it's own punchline. It's just cringe-worthy and creepy like seeing your grandmother naked or something.
