From the pictures I can tell that it looks like a wonderful set any M-e fan would love to have! But it's waaaay beyond my price range.

I preffer to spend the money buying the books instead.

No. I'm happy with the extended versions of the Middle Earth movies that I already have on Blu-Ray and the books including The Silmarillon. Also, I'm not paying $800 for the new set. That is way too much.
