realistic,I really hope not? SPOILERS

I live on a rough council estate and at least round here anybody throwing stuff at a police car would be arrested or at least be chased round the estate abd better hope they don't get caught.

Would they really charge a pensioner with hitting a kid who probably has previous convictions, what would a police officer do if someone stole his car keys?

I don't doubt there are worse places than where I stay but the image of the police in this series is over the top,2 police officers catch a skanky kid running away from a high class flat with an alarm going off and one talks about risk assesments, this series is somewhere between the DAILY MAIL and SOCIALIST WORKER as far as realism goes.

I am sick of police officers complaining about paperwork,do they expect to arrest people and witness incidents and not have stuff recorded,it is not 1912.

Don't get me wrong I like this but its not BETWEEN THE LINES or HIDDEN AGENDA.

Yeah the risk assessment bit was a bit daft. But I think it was because the male officer was new and inexperienced and the female was supposed to be looking after him to an extent.

reply

I thought the female officer was just being lazy in every scene she has had so far she has taken issue with doing her job. Even taking a statement made her roll her eyes.

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

While Lennie James's character is a light weight Vic Mackey trying to stay one step ahead of his unintended balls ups. Instead of Armenian drug money its a Scotch glass!

reply

That was absolutely ludicrous. He holds on to it because he couldn't dump it in a lake? He could have smashed it to smithereens just about anywhere on route.
