For me too, so let's hope it happens.
I was a bit disappointed with Season 2, that they seemed to give him a bit of a personality transplant, and only trotted out his old personality at the end when they wanted to ramp up something of a cliffhanger.
Maybe at the time there was no real prospect for a further series, so they didn't want to leave things too open, but I still would have liked to see them keep him on the boil.
Ah well, I'm still happy to see what they pull out of the hat with the new stories.
