The profile Cottan did in that meeting room fitted Arnott and the writers gave you a clue earlier in the program when it was mentioned that Arnott was bought in from counter terrosism.
I suspect Arnott will be in deep **** and either this season or next season Linsay Denton will be the one to get to the truth
How would Denton know Steve didn't plant the money? Kate lured her out of her house on the pretext of revisiting the crime scene where Denton saw Carly Kirk being assaulted. Denton soon returns to the house and there's Sreve with a forensic team saying we've found your bribe money.
I totally agree! That awful Cottan is prancing around being praised by everyone and nobody seems to be even slightly suspecting him. Makes me want to scream! He's got to go soon! The question is - who else will he take with him? I bet he's not the only bad apple in there. Maybe that will all come out in next week's 90 minute episode. I hope so!
The AC-12 cops are supposed to be specially trained, if they can't spot corruption in their own department then how the hell did they get the job?
When someone points the finger at Cottan, it's laughed off without explanation or investigation. But when he points the finger at Arnott they immediately believe it it and he's suspended. Is that really ow AC-12 works?
And would they really give Cottan a bravery award for bringing in a bent cop? That would hardly be something they would celebrate? They would be sweeping it under the carpet.
From the perspective of AC-12 he fought against a bent cop with weapons training and survived. Also most bent cops throw mud at the person who arrests them to discredit them. Who wouldn't. So you would take the word of a person who murdered another cop over an AC-12 cop? I wouldn't. Why would they? ; When they had evidence or suspicions because Arnott asked some serious quesstions and discrepany they investigated. Also on a sidenote: pocket books < they really helped. Written down oddness which connects later on alltogether.
"The end is not the end, but for the beginning an end is always near."

+1000 Weak story up to that point, glad it was short lived: I really like the last interview - Season 3 - Episode 8. Wow there were even heavily armed officers guarding the interview.
