OT: Petition to stop banning "Dukes of Hazzard"

So many for a change, on this board, people can discuss something they LIKE, lol.

In light of the controversy that's been going on for the last few weeks regarding the confederate flag, Viacom decided to pull all reruns of Dukes of Hazzard off TV, Warner Bros. is discontinuing the die cast model General Lee cars, and Wal-Mart has stopped carrying their merchandise, ALL because the car has that flag on it, so now a show that's been running in syndication for 30 years and was never ONCE considered racist before, is NOW suddenly too racially offensive to have on TV.

There is a petition for these companies to stop banning Dukes of Hazzard and they need 200,000 signatures to meet the goal, they are down to needing little over 23,000 but the last couple days the signatures have been coming in at an all-time low, so if you're a fan, please sign, if you have a friend that is, send it to them, if you're on Facebook, please share it there, a few days ago they were getting 1400 and 3000 signatures a day so the current rate of 500 or less a day is ridiculous and unacceptable. Please spread the word.
