Cut Scene - Pirates

In the film i saw, it does not appear at the beginning, the era of the pirates with the minions pirates.
Was it a cut scene?

The Merchandising of the film, comes many things alluding to pirates (eg, collection of cards, stickers ...)

It will be a scene for only a few regions of the world? Or even just to 3D? Has anyone seen this scene?

I do think the scene was indeed cut. Probably to reduce running time. Wouldn't make sense to release minions merchandise to a specific time period without planning to make that sequence. Hopefully they release that scene for home video.
