That the minions did 9/11 and was involved in the holocaust

The minions probably guided Jews into the gas chambers and laughed as they were suffocating to death.

They were with Gru before 9/11 however.

This movie took place in 1968 so they might have helped with 9/11, maybe Gru too.

Honestly, I was a little nervous they might throw in some Nazi / Holocaust references during those scenes, but apparently they opted for Napoleon instead.

Honestly, that was the only part of the movie I didn't like. The Minions seemed to sweet and good natured to want to serve bad guys. I feel like there should have been a different reason for how they ended up with Scarlet and Gru.
