I think I was able to understand a few lines in the movie such as
Come here and let me try it ect
I could discern the meaning of what the minions were saying most of the time. I speak Spanish, and there are a lot of Spanish words in minions' vocabulary. And most of the meaning is apparent from their tone and facial expressions. King Bob's speech was made incomprehensible on purpose, in my opinion.
shareIn the first two movies, I think banana was about the only thing discernible. However, in this one, I was getting some Spanish and possibly a few other words, some English. Personally, I think it's cuter and more interesting when they are almost, but not quite, understandable.
