Wall-E and Eve couldn't really talk, and that movie was fantastic
shareLOL! +1!
Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Can't please no-damn-body.
Bazinga! I would further add that given their role in these films, they were pretty prevalent too and couldn't talk. There are other characters in the films so it's not like it's that important that they can't talk. They make noises and are able to express themselves accordingly. What more do you need? In the 1920's when they had silent films, people didn't talk then either. And what about deaf or mute people? They can't "talk," by traditional standards. There are many ways to communicate other than vocally or orally. I'm sure everything will be just fine. The writers and director know what they're doing.
Well said!

Dragging Wall-E into this is a blasphemy.
sharejust saw the film. they can actually speak a few words from different languages if you listen carefully(;
shareYep.
Towards the end, Bob said "terima kasih"
"terima kasih" is bahasa indonesia (indonesian language) for "thank you".
Pierre Coffin, the director, is half Indonesian as his mother was a famous Indonesian writer, N.H. Dini
oddly, that same lack of communication skills does not stop most people from posting on here either.
