i just don't get it

why does everybody always act like these stupid kids movies are so deep and brooding and poignant and moving. they're just kids movies. how deep could a stupid kids movie be? it doesn't take hardly anything to entertain a seven year old. people act like these movies are like the grapes of wrath or the godfather or whatever. I'm not saying they can't be great and can't be Oscar winners hell in fact I own quite a few of them and I love them, but people act like these disney and Pixar movies deserve 50 Oscars each and like they're so intellectual. THEY'RE KIDS MOVIES there is nothing super smart about them. they are just cute, sweet, funny, relatable stories THAT'S IT NOTHING MORE. this cartoon sh-- should not be obliterating everything in its path all the time and getting a higher rating than stuff like mad max: fury road. it should be the other way around.

These movies are more entertain them any adult movie. So far all the Hollywood films that are out making real money are dumb. That's where we're at now with film entertainment.
