The Despicable Me movies had heart, entertaining stories, and characters you liked. It hit its mark with kids and kids of all ages. What a severe disappointment the Minions movie is! It's just mindless, unfunny slapstick. This movie helps kill the enthusiasm I unexpectedly found for for the series through Gru and friends. The Minions is painfully bad and boring.

I agree I liked despicable me. Minions is like an hour and a half full of gibberish talking and actions. What a bore.

Agree. This was a complete waste of time. Couldn't even finish it.

I didn't like this film either. The Minions belong as supporting characters.
