Moon landing hoax scene

Did any one else notice the scene when the minions are in the late 60s and they walk through a set filming the moon landing? i was slightly shocked when i saw that

reply

I didn't find it shocking. I thought it was funny.

reply

That was one of the only funny parts in the movie.

reply

I thought it was common knowledge that it was faked, now watch this thread grow and grow with we did/we didn't go.

How old are you? What common knowledge do you speak of?? NASA just recently released thousands of photos from the Apollo mission that took us to the Moon. So no it was not faked.

HOWEVER. They could have filmed stuff prior on a set in fear that we would not make it there first and that footage could have been released. But saying we didn't go to the Moon makes people sound stupid.

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.

reply

Don't worry about stupid people, they are stupid......right, just be certain about everything, you know it makes sense.

... and you took the bait...

Hook line and sinker.

Ignorant statements need to be opposed every time, even if it is just a trap. If an ignorant statement stands unopposed, gullible people will read it and believe it.

It doesn't take an irrational "conspiracy lunatic" or whatever to realize that it is at least WEIRD if not downright SUSPICIOUS that a ton of photos are released to the public -- 40+ years after an event. Coincidence, maybe. that this happens finally now in a technology era where the convincing photo/video editing that Robert Zemeckis achieved in Forrest Gump after investing millions of dollars and years of work ... is NOW an easy task on a weekend for many people on a laptop computer?

But sure, I guess we all should just blindly accept that every single "official photo" any government agency ever releases to the public is GENUINE, UNALTERED, and of course part of the COMPLETE COLLECTION of everything they have on file for that event, with nothing held back that might... shall we say, contradict the official narrative?

Sure, they just held onto them all for 40 years, instead of releasing them when it would have been a lot more convincing to the masses that they were the real deal.

idk, call me a skeptic. Better than being a eyes-wide-shut sheep.

Not at all given that most archival documents that were once classified usually are released in the 40-50 years time period in western world. Also note that thanks to advancements in computer technology NASA can now easily host accesible photos online, something they would have absolutely no way of doing 40 years ago.

Agreed. Anyone who thinks the moon landing was faked is a flat-earther. There is NO freaking way that those images were faked; in 1969 the best we could do for special effects in cinema was dressing a bunch of people up to look like apes or building a model of a spaceship and flying it on wires. Give me a break please.

reply

I thought that was the best scene of the movie.
It was a decent movie, some funny, some dumb, but not too bad (5/6 out of 10).

reply

if you think the moon landing was faked you're either 12 or a looney of the highest order.
we left evidence there.

reply

Shocked? Really? It was meant to be funny. Shocked at a kids film because the claim that the moon landing was a hoax. You know this is not the first time the claims been made.

reply

You never saw Capricorn?

reply

I believe you meant "Capricorn One" from 1978 and co-starring the one and only O.J.Simpson. People who deny the moon landing can probably go to the "Conspiracy Theory 99-cent store" and get a new tin-foil hat to protect them from voices from beyond the
galaxy...whooooo...woooo.

reply

Was hilarious ?

reply

It's not accurate unless the Director looks like Stanley Kubrick.

reply

I took it that they were making fun of conspiracy theorists, rightly or wrongly ...

reply

Thats's like saying they were making fun of London.

reply

why where you shocked? care to tell us? not trying to bed rude, just a honest question.
