So she throws up, but writers implied nothing?
WTF did the writers just wake up one day and say "Lets be total d-bags to the viewers". She clearly wasn't pregnant, they could have made an attempt to keep it open ended.

@VintageHeart-LOL!! I like that idea!! The one thing about that scene that irked me,is they never did explain why Emma was puking!! Nothing like"oh,it must be food poisoning,a 24 hour bug, something like that" no explanation at all!!

My guess is that they originally had her pregnant but changed the ending for whatever reason. They went from her puking to talking about cravings. She was totally pregnant.
shareI was thinking that myself. A lot of times, the original screenplay is not the finished product you see on the screen. I think that maybe if the movie were allowed to be longer than 2 hours-normal tv movie running time-they would have been able to expand on the time they were actually on the island, and would have had Emma pregnant. With the limited running time they had though, they had to have them rescued, and rap up the storyline with in a certain amount of time. :-)
shareWhen he asked her if she was pregnant she said not the fish tasted funny. My guess is that she meant it was food poisoning.
shareActually it wasn't intended; the actress really did vomit, when she realised what this garbage would end her career before it even started.
"IMdB; where 14 year olds can act like jaded 40 year old critics...'

Like I said before-we just have to chalk it up to limited running time, and, imo,a sort of poorly written script!! I loved the movie, but the rescue and ending just seemed sort of rushed and forced, kind of like it just didn't mesh with the rest of the film-kind of bad editing!! I've watched it several times now,and I somehow almost get the impression that the screen play writers weren't sure exactly how to proceed with the story line after a certain point-does that make any sense??
shareI agree with Laura on this. I wish they had asked me to review it before release. I could rewritten a bunch of details to improve it. Certainly all the ingredients for pregnancy were there. Then she's NOT pregnant???
