Well, she wasn't the first choice for the role. I think they wanted Brooke Shields for it. And her acting was crap - that's not the film's fault.

Well, I won't comment on the acting, but Denise Richards does look like she could be Indiana's real life mom. I mean, that is why I first looked her up. I was curious if it was her real life daughter, as I thought she had only younger kids, but the two look so much like they could be real life mother/daughter.

I saw that interview-lol!! And she's right-if they were to do a screen composite overlay of both Brooke and Denise,the ending result would probably look like Indiana!!
