Emma's sister. Even in the beginning of the movie she never got attention from her parents.

She was probably happy she was back but not happy about people not paying attention to her. But a missing person surviving is a big deal though. It's just with the parents always giving Emma all the intention in the beginning of the movie before she goes to Trinidad.

I just watched that scene again and still have no problem with her. She seems a little jealous yes, but says she missed her sister. So she enjoyed some extra attention and is a bit jealous of her older sis, but definitely missed her and is glad to have her back. I didn't get the impression she was ever actually glad her sister may be dead.

I always hoped that Emma's mom learned her lesson and appreciated Stacey more even after Emma came home.

But instead she ignored Stacy throughout the entire movie.
